Dog Show & Agility

Dogs are part of the family and you needn’t miss out on the Al Shira'aa Bolesworth Young Horse Championships on their behalf!

We’re delighted to be hosting both professional and ‘have a go’ dog agility sessions over the weekend here at Bolesworth, as well as family dog shows both days.

The family dog show and have a go dog agility can be entered on the day, is open to everyone and no experience is necessary.

Schedule

9.30am to 12.45pm: Have A Go Agility

10.30am: Family Dog Show entries taken till each class starts

1pm: Family Dog Show (six classes)

• 1pm - Class 1 Best puppy under 12 months
• 1.20pm - Class 2 Best Bolesworth Gundog
• 1.40pm - Class 3 Best Bolesworth Terrier
• 2pm - Class 4 Best Child Handler
• 2.20pm - Class 5 Most Handsome Dog
• 2.40pm - Class 6 Prettiest Bitch

3pm to 4pm: Have A Go Agility

Competitive Entries

Competitive sessions are a brilliant spectator sport for everyone to enjoy. If you’d like to enter, you need to pre-register by completing the form at the following link.

Please Note: With the expectation of rising temperature over the weekend we have taken the decision, as elsewhere in the dog world, to bring the start of judging forward by 1 hour to 8am and run through the classes each day until close which may be before lunch. Whilst we appreciate this may not suit all we have tried to take action to the benefit of most.

Bolesworth is a dog-friendly venue near Chester in the heart of Cheshire; we just ask they remain on a lead at all times. So don’t leave them at home, your good boy or girl deserves a great time too at the perfect summer’s day out.
