Ramiro B Progeny With Exciting Futures

In Memory of the prolific sire Ramiro B, Bolesworth Elite Auctions offers an outstanding selection of progeny at the Elite Ramiro B Auction.

With a sell-out crowd, the Bolesworth Elite Ramiro B Auction delivered on all levels at the Equitop Bolesworth Young Horse Championships.  The new show for 2019 hosted the auction for the very first time with a new look auction paddock, set up in the heart of Club Boles and Hospitality, allowing bidders to see each Lot up close and personal before purchase.

The Lots were selected by the Bolesworth Elite Auctions team for their trainability, temperament and scope for future sport with a strong emphasis on the black type dam-lines. The quality and class of the world ranking stallion could be seen throughout all of the Lots. As well as the Ramiro B progeny on offer, a charity lot was also presented which included a covering to Ramiro B with a guaranteed live foal, tickets to the TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show in December as well as tickets to an evening with Oliver Townend, Geoff Billington and Mary King, with the proceeds of the Lot going to the Tim Stockdale Foundation.

The auction started with Ramiro Dollar, an exceptional filly foal oozing quality, out of Carnaval Dollar, with plenty of blood. The auction continued with two outstanding yearlings, two 2 year olds and two 3 year olds ready to start their ridden careers. Topping the auction Lots was Lot 7 - Mario B. The mirror image of Ramiro B himself with all his attributes, the 3yo out of a full Thoroughbred mare by Bahri, already has a successful 6yo full brother competing at BE100.

Nina Barbour, Managing Director of Bolesworth and previous owner of Ramiro B, said: “We are thrilled with the first of our Elite Auctions of the week. The Ramiro B progeny were carefully selected and were well received, along with our new auction paddock right in the heart of Club Boles. The atmosphere was electric and allowed bidders to really see the quality of youngstock on offer.”

We look forward to following the progress of the graduates of this very special Ramiro B Auction as they head off to their new homes and exciting careers.
